The first JW Marriott in Vietnam, when completed, this five star hotel will have 9 levels with a total of 450 rooms (414 standard rooms, 34 luxury rooms, one Vice-Presidential suite and one Presidential suite). The hotel will be targeted at corporate clients as well as local and international tourists. Its facilities will include conference rooms, health care centre and Western and Asian restaurants which meet five-star hotel standards.
Carlos Zapata, who designed the 68-storey Bitexco Financial Tower in Ho Chi Minh City, also designed this project. The architectural design is inspired by a dragon. Dragons play an important role in Vietnamese legends. As one of the four holy animals in Vietnamese folklore, they symbolise nobility and power.
